All of us at Dr. Surya and Associates are excited to announce that as of June 1st our office has reopened!! We have missed all of you and look forward to welcoming you back for all of your dental needs and making those pearly whites bright!
A lot has changed in the world with Covid-19 and we understand many of you may have concerns about the possible spread of the virus here at the dental office. Please feel assured that your health and wellbeing as well as that of the staff are of paramount importance to Dr. Surya. Guidelines have been implemented from the Chief Medical Officer and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and we are keeping up to date with the newest information. As always, we follow and strive to better the IPAC regulations for the sterilization of our equipment and the disinfection of the surfaces in the office.
What you can expect are new protocols for entering the building and staggered appointment times for social distancing. Everyone who enters the office will be screened and everyone’s temperature will be taken upon entering. Every operatory now has an air purification system and many ops have barriers to seal the room.
Staff will also be wearing full protective gear for aerosol producing procedures. There are many other things we have implemented but early in our re-opening, the most obvious will be the staggered return of the staff. Don’t fret, your favourite assistant, hygienist and receptionist we will be back very soon!
If you had an appointment that was postponed due to the lockdown please call the office to reschedule. Please be aware that only patients with scheduled appointments can be seen at this time. Due to social distancing concerns, we regret that walk-ins cannot be accommodated.
